Early Childhood Program

We at Maria Regina School believe that children are a gift from God. Our Early Childhood Program lays the foundation for a child to become a thinking, caring student. It provides the experiences, relationships, and opportunities to meet the needs of the young child in a warm, nurturing environment. Our teachers and assistants help every child begin their journey in Catholic faith and develop a love of learning.

3 YEAR OLD PROGRAM

Children must be 3 years old, on or before December 1st, of that school year. Children must be fully potty trained, no pull-ups.

In a nurturing environment, through growing, learning, and playing the children will be developing the following curriculum:

Socialization
Basic colors and shapes
Introduction to the alphabet
Finger Plays/Songs
Children's Literature
Arts/Crafts
Daily Religion Activities
Computer Activities
Library and Music Classes

4 YEAR OLD PROGRAM

Full Day or Half Day Program available. Children must be 4 years old, on or before December 1st, of that school year. Children must be fully potty trained, no pull-ups.

In a nurturing environment, through sharing, learning, and playing the children will be developing the following curriculum:

Socialization
Exposure to Reading Readiness
Exposure to Math Readiness
Finger Plays/Songs
Arts/Crafts
Computer, Music, and Library Classes
Children's Literature
Daily Religion Activities

5 YEAR OLD PROGRAM

Children must be 5 years old, on or before December 1st, of that school year.

In a nurturing environment, through sharing, learning and playing, the children will be developing the following curriculum:

New York State Learning Standards
Full-day program
Children's Literature
Reading Readiness/Beginning Reading
Math Readiness
Hot lunch program
Arts/Crafts
Classroom Computers
Library, Music, Physical Education, Art, and iiiiiiiiComputer Classes
Religion Activities
Songs/Stories/Finger plays
Bus transportation
After-School program
